Who can use this

The program is tailored for older adults and individuals with disabilities, with eligibility based on care requirements and financial status. Generally, applicants must have a monthly income below $7,304, and their countable resources should not exceed: $2,000 for an individual, $57,547 for a couple, or $123,600 for a couple when one is hospitalized or in a skilled nursing facility. Individuals whose resources surpass these limits may still qualify if they anticipate meeting them within a month of application. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate an unmet need for help with two or more daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with at least one daily living activity.
