About this resource
Assists low-income individuals on Medicare with their Part A and Part B premiums. The DSHS also covers co-pays and deductibles for Medicare beneficiaries with very low income.
Application Process: You can apply by calling, visiting the website, or going to any Community Service Office (CSO).
Cost: There are no fees associated with this assistance.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are Medicare recipients and have income at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify for maximum assistance. For Part B premium aid, income must be at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Level, while Part A assistance is available to individuals with disabilities earning up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
