There are no associated fees for these services.

Who can use this

  • According to the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act, families or students are considered homeless and entitled to special rights if they are: - residing in a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground - living on the streets, in a 24-hour restaurant, or at a bus station - displaced by a natural or human-made disaster (such as floods, earthquakes, or fires) - staying in inadequate living conditions like a motel, abandoned building, or trailer - living with friends or relatives due to a lack of affordable housing - 'couch surfing' - teenagers living independently.
