About this resource
This program aids DSHS public assistance recipients in acquiring a Washington State ID card at a discounted price from the Department of Licensing. Case workers at DSHS will complete a form that clients can present to DOL to obtain the card for just $5.
Intake Procedure: Clients can call or visit any Community Service Office.
Fees: The cost for the card is $5.

- Eligible individuals include anyone receiving public assistance from DSHS, such as financial and food assistance; those under 25 without a permanent address can confirm their eligibility at the time of ID issuance without needing a DSHS letter.
