About this resource
This program provides support to low-income individuals enrolled in Medicare by covering their premiums for Part A and Part B. Additionally, DSHS also takes care of co-pays and deductibles for very low-income beneficiaries.
Application Process: You can apply by calling, visiting the website, or going to any Community Service Office (CSO).
Costs: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are Medicare recipients and have an income at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify for maximum assistance. For Part B premium assistance, the income must be at or below 135%, while Part A assistance is available for individuals with disabilities earning up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
