About this resource
This program provides support to low-income individuals enrolled in Medicare by covering their Part A and Part B premiums. Additionally, the DSHS covers co-pays and deductibles for beneficiaries with very limited income.
Application Process: Interested individuals can apply by calling, visiting the website, or going to any Community Service Office (CSO).
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are Medicare recipients and whose income is at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify for the most assistance; those needing only Part B premium help must be at or below 135%, while individuals with disabilities seeking Part A assistance must be at 200%.
