Family Renewal Shelter
Community Resource
About this resource
This program provides confidential emergency shelter and support services for women who have experienced abuse, whether they have children or not. It also assists in relocating high-risk victims to safer areas.
Intake Process: Interested individuals should call for screening and intake.
Costs: There are no fees for the services provided.
Who can use this
- The program is designed for high-risk abused women, with priority given to the most critical abuse cases. It does not accommodate individuals with severe psychiatric issues or ongoing substance abuse problems. Adults must present a photo ID, while children need identification such as birth certificates or social security cards to establish their relationship with the parent. Documentation of domestic violence may be requested on a case-by-case basis. While it primarily serves residents of Pierce, King, Thurston, and Kitsap counties, it is open to anyone in immediate danger.
