About this resource
This initiative provides temporary emergency housing for a maximum of 90 days to individuals and families, including single parents, who are escaping dangerous domestic violence situations.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for an initial screening. Admission to the shelter is determined by a scored assessment, prioritizing those in the most urgent need for safety. When a space opens up, the next individual with the highest priority is contacted for a suitable unit based on family size. Additionally, callers can request information regarding domestic violence, safety planning, and available resources.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Applicants must be experiencing or attempting to escape abuse from an intimate partner, which includes various relationship types.
