This service features a hotline where consumers can report food-related issues. Complaints may involve items bought at grocery stores, meals consumed at restaurants, or concerns about food processing or storage facilities.
Intake Procedure: You can report issues by calling, emailing, or filling out an online form. The Food Safety Technician will ask for specific information, including product description, brand name and container size, product coding, name of the manufacturer or distributor, city and state, and the location and date of purchase.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.
