Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO). Once an online or paper application is submitted, DSHS will send a notification about the interview process. Clients requiring urgent financial help should consult their case manager. Additionally, the phone service features a callback option (virtual hold) where callers can leave their number and receive a return call when it's their turn. Callers might interact with multiple representatives; the first will be a navigator who assesses the call to decide if they can assist or if a more qualified person should take over.
