Current efforts include health assessments and educational outreach at hazardous waste and Superfund sites, addressing airborne chemicals, drinking water safety, and the health effects of smoke from wildfires and agricultural burning. *Indoor Environment Program: This initiative educates Idahoans about health risks from indoor pollutants such as radon and lead-based paint, along with strategies to mitigate exposure. *The Idaho Fish Consumption Advisory Program (IFCAP) alerts residents about potential water contamination affecting fish and human health.
