About this resource
Fuel Fund is a program designed to assist individuals and families who surpass the HEAP Income guidelines by 20% through financial aid. Payments are made directly to heating service providers to help families navigate short-term financial challenges. The program also includes case management and referrals to RECAP’s Weatherization program. Please note that this program can help with the HEAP application process.

Who can use this
- Residents of Orange County who are U.S. Citizens or Legal Residents, meet income eligibility, and have savings or assets below $60,000 for the 2023-2024 heating season.
