About this resource
The program's goal is to avert the placement of children in congregate residential care or foster care. Home Safe collaborates with families requiring support and enhancement. Referrals for children must come through the Suffolk County Department of Social Services. The initiative offers in-home parenting skills and case management services to families involved with DSS/CPS, with services provided weekly over a six-month duration.
