About this resource
Under Title III-E of the Older Americans Act, a range of services such as case management, information and referral, counseling, support groups, training, and respite care are available. This initiative aims to assist family caregivers who are looking after older relatives facing chronic illnesses or disabilities. The Office for the Aging oversees these services, which are meant to enhance, rather than replace, the care provided by families.
