About this resource
Migrant and Seasonal Head Start programs deliver education, health services, nutrition, social support, and additional resources, including developmental screenings, specifically for migrant children whose parents work in agricultural fields. The initiative aids preschoolers in enhancing their language, reading, and math abilities essential for academic success, while also promoting parental involvement. Services available for parents and expectant mothers encompass parenting workshops, family assistance, and opportunities for leadership. Additionally, wrap-around child care may be offered.
