About this resource
Options counselors offer support to individuals in making well-informed choices about long-term care. They evaluate personal strengths, needs, preferences, and specific circumstances. Counselors provide insights into various support strategies, action plans, and methods based on the options accessible within the community. Options Counseling can be utilized as an independent service or may transition into Older Americans Act Case Management (OAA), which serves those needing continuous assistance to maintain independence. Care coordinators play a vital role in problem-solving, advocacy, and linking participants with resources and community support to improve their quality of life and facilitate future planning.
Intake Procedure: Contact via phone or visit the website for additional details.
Fees: No charges apply.
