North Bend City Coos-Curry Housing Authorities
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides community residents with access to affordable housing options. The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program operates on a tenant-based assistance model, meaning that the support stays with the tenant as long as they remain eligible. Although the Housing Authority does not act as the landlord, it helps facilitate rent payments to landlords. Public Housing units are owned and managed by the Housing Authority, and this program offers unit-based assistance, which means that if a family vacates a unit, the assistance remains tied to that unit. One small pet is permitted with prior approval before moving in.
Intake Procedure: Contact for more details. Applications can be found online.
Fees: The Housing Authority does not charge any fees for applying or receiving rental assistance, although tenants may need to contribute a portion of the rent if they qualify for assistance.
