Options counselors support individuals in making educated decisions about long-term care. Options Counseling can function as a standalone service or transition into Older Americans Act Case Management (OAA), which offers ongoing assistance for individuals seeking to maintain their independence. Care coordinators play a vital role in problem-solving, advocacy, and connecting participants with resources and community support to improve their quality of life and future planning.

Who can use this
- Eligibility for Options Counseling includes individuals aged 60 and above, adults with disabilities, veterans, and their family members or caregivers, while OAA is available for those aged 60 and older.
