About this resource
This initiative aids families in identifying publicly funded preschools across family care, center, and school environments. Students who qualify are paired with locations that align with their family's preferences and requirements. Available options encompass days of operation, hours, transportation, primary language, bilingual programs, curriculum, and educational approach. Additionally, it can offer caregivers insights into other public early learning and care initiatives, as well as family support services for children aged 0-5.

Who can use this
- -Children must be aged 3-4 before September 1st of the current year -Household income should be below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) -Certain Preschool Promise locations may have a Geographic Area with Low Access (GALA) to Care waiver, permitting families exceeding 200% of FPL to join the program. The Early Learning Hub can provide this information for your area. -Oregon residency is required -Families enrolled in SNAP, TANF, OHP, OHP Bridge, or OHP CWM are exempt from additional income verification -Foster Care children are also exempt from additional income verification. Housing Adjustment: Eligibility Specialists can modify a family's gross income calculation to consider high housing costs, applicable to families spending over 30% of their gross income on housing.
