This initiative provides tax preparation services for federal and Oregon taxes via in-person appointments, where IRS-certified volunteers assist with the majority of individual tax returns and some self-employment returns. It also offers support for applying for or renewing an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) and provides information on available tax credits. There are opportunities for volunteers to serve as client facilitators, interpreters, outreach committee members, and tax preparers.
