About this resource
This center specializes in mediation services facilitated by trained volunteer mediators, handling a wide range of issues including small claims, neighbor disputes, harassment, vandalism, property disagreements, family matters, animal conflicts, employee issues, landlord/tenant relations, student disputes, noise complaints, debt issues, youth conflicts (such as parent-teen disagreements), and parking disputes. Additionally, it offers restorative justice conferencing for victims to engage with their offenders in a constructive environment.

Travel/Location: The center is situated in the old courthouse at the intersection of K Avenue and 4th Street, just a block away from the bus stop.
Fees: A sliding scale fee ranging from $0 to $50 applies per mediation session, with most cases being free and no one turned away for financial reasons.
