About this resource
This initiative provides educational resources, information, and referrals concerning housing matters, along with financial support for both homebuyers and homeowners. The services encompass homebuyer education classes and workshops, financial literacy programs, counseling before and after purchasing a home, foreclosure assistance, down payment support, renter resources, and advice on home maintenance and repairs, including options for home repair loans. Monthly classes are conducted at Columbia Gorge Community College in Hood River and The Dalles. Additionally, the program keeps the community updated on housing trends in the Mid-Columbia area using up-to-date statistics.
