This week-long summer camp caters to children impacted by a parent's cancer, fostering a supportive peer network.
Registration Process: Interested individuals can register by calling or visiting the website. Applications begin in January and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The website features a schedule of upcoming camp sessions, related events, links to the chapter's Facebook page, and provides contact details for the chapter.
Cost: There are no fees involved.
Who can use this
- Children aged 6-18 who have lost a parent to cancer, have a parent currently receiving cancer treatment, or whose parent is a cancer survivor are eligible. Participants can attend Camp Kesem multiple times, and considerations for children with disabilities and special needs are made individually.
