About this resource
This initiative provides a mentorship and volunteer opportunity that emphasizes sustainability and stewardship. New mentees, referred to as "NewBees," receive personalized training in beekeeping and conservation, fostering connections with peers, the community, and nature as they work towards managing their own hives and mentoring future NewBees.
Intake Procedure: Complete the online application available on the website.
Fees: There are no fees associated.
Who can use this
- Mentees must be military personnel, veterans, or first responders (active or retired), such as firefighters, police officers, and paramedics, while mentors should have at least 3 years of beekeeping experience.
