About this resource

Flexible Services, referred to as "flex funds," are supplementary non-covered services that complement the benefits of the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) via Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs), aiming to enhance care delivery and the overall health and well-being of members. Eligibility for these services is assessed by the CCO. Available services may encompass: -Housing assistance (such as rent support, rental deposit aid [with a move-in date], utility payments, and housing programs for women and children) -Temporary motel accommodations (for individuals discharged from hospitals, facing severe weather, having a scheduled move-in date for a new residence, or escaping domestic violence) -Electronics like cellphones, computers, and other communication tools -Educational materials and classes -Family and home resources (e.g., items for child health and safety, parenting programs, household appliances, climate control devices) -Gym memberships and fitness classes/equipment -Support for health and substance use prevention. All flexible services are evaluated individually by the CCO. It is important to note that these services are not designed for emergency situations. CCOs are not obligated to provide flexible services, and since they are not covered benefits, denials cannot be appealed; however, OHP members can file a complaint if necessary.

Intake Procedure: For more details, call or visit the website.

Fees: None.
