About this resource
Climate Support is a service related to health and social needs (HRSN) offered by the Oregon Health Plan. It includes devices designed to protect individuals during climate emergencies. The eligible devices are intended solely for use in the member's home or primary residence and may consist of: -Air conditioners, heaters, and air filters to maintain healthy air quality and temperature -Mini refrigerators to preserve medication during power outages -Portable power supplies to run medical equipment like ventilators during outages. Members are permitted to access HRSN climate services only once in their lifetime.

There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Trillium members must satisfy all of the following criteria: -Have a qualifying living situation for HRSN services -Possess a health condition that complicates or endangers them during climate events -Reside in an area with electricity -Be capable of using the device safely. For air conditioners or air filters: -Must not already own an air conditioner or air filter -Must have received medical assistance currently or within the last 12 months from OHA, Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), or Medicare -Must be at risk for heat-related illness due to being 65 years or older, a medically fragile child, or having a medical condition exacerbated by heat or smoke.
