Weatherization assists low-income households in lowering energy expenses while enhancing home comfort and safety through various repairs and replacements identified in energy audits.
Who can use this
- To qualify, income must be below 200% of the current poverty level, with preference given to families that include disabled individuals, the elderly, or preschool-aged children.
Documents you may need
- Proof of homeownership. If renting, have landlord sign the Owner Weatherization Agreement before a notary public and list appropriate optional cost sharing choices.; Income Verification
