Hopelink Transportation
Community Resource
About this resource
This service offers tailored transportation options in Duvall, Carnation, Shoreline, and Lake Forest Park when bus services are insufficient. The vans are operated by volunteer drivers who are approved by Metro, and their availability may vary.
Intake Procedure: You can either call or complete the online trip request form. Requests for trips should be made at least two business days prior to the desired date.
Fees: Payment can be made using Transit GO mobile tickets, any monthly ORCA card, or Human Services Bus Tickets. The standard fare for a round-trip in the Community Van is $2.75 for adults, while children aged 5 and under can ride for free. Other payment methods, such as cash or e-purse versions of ORCA cards, are not accepted.
Who can use this
- To schedule a Community Van trip, a minimum of two riders is necessary, and trips must start within their home jurisdiction, with the option to pick up additional passengers along the route. Accessibility features, such as ramps and wheelchair securement, are available upon request, and parents/guardians are responsible for providing and installing car seats for their children.
