Meany Health Center Through Seattle Roots Community Health

Community Resource

Serves: Seattle, King County

About this resource

This clinic provides essential health services such as treating minor illnesses and injuries, family planning, physical exams, and health education, exclusively for students enrolled at the clinic's school.

Intake Procedure: To access most services, individuals must fill out a registration form. According to state and federal laws, minors can consent to family planning, mental health, and alcohol/drug services independently. While parental consent and registration are highly recommended for these services, they are not mandatory. For other services, both a parent consent form and registration are required.

Fees: There are no fees for some services covered by WA Apple Health (Medicaid), and select private insurance plans are accepted.

Who can use this

  • Eligibility is limited to students from the clinic's school or its partner institutions, prioritizing uninsured and underinsured adolescents while also providing confidential care for those with insurance.
