About this resource
This initiative allows low-income families to attain homeownership through a sweat equity model. Participants make a down payment and monthly mortgage payments that feed into a revolving fund dedicated to constructing homes for additional families.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is determined by the ability to afford monthly mortgage payments, demonstrated need, and a commitment to collaborate with Habitat. Additional criteria include having resided or worked in Utah County for a minimum of one year, earning between 30-80% of the area median income, and completing required sweat equity hours (350 hours for two-parent households, 200 hours for single-parent households).
